presentation francesco fasolato
from his “Manifesto of Metamathematical Painting” (2017): I feel myself as twenty-century’s son, I was born one and half month before
the fall of the Berlin Wall, so first I look behind me:
I understood different lessons by lots of masters, so I refuse the idea of multiplying ideas ‘cause that’s useless, whereas Art is always useful.
I tried to paint artworks through mind’s rational scheme,
I legitimized my work with other work: writing. And I flowed under y.
I don’t look forward because
I don’t believe Art can tell something new, neither in a new way,the reign of Art’s History is more bigger than terrain’s one.
Today we only need a synthesis that talk to the wordabout the word itself.
Form is unique key to open the art’s doors, and Metamathematical Painting wants to say:
“This is the New Form. You have to follow the hyperbole and flow over y”.
From painted artwork, through text, flowing in your mind: this is the sacred place of Art.”
